Ingredients for the chicken fingers:

  • 500g chicken breast, cut into strips
  • 3 cups cornflakes, crushed
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 2 eggs, whisked
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • oil for frying

Preparation of the chicken fingers:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  2. Season the chicken breast strips with salt and pepper.
  3. Place the flour, beaten eggs and crushed cornflakes in separate bowls.
  4. First coat the chicken strips in the flour, then dip them in the beaten eggs and finally bread them evenly with the crushed cornflakes.
  5. Place the breaded chicken strips on the prepared baking sheet and spray lightly with oil.
  6. Bake the chicken fingers in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes until golden brown and crispy.

Serve:

  • Serve the crispy chicken fingers as a dip with the spicy chipeño sauce.
  • Optional: Garnish the chicken fingers with freshly chopped cilantro or parsley for an extra flavor kick.
