How often have I looked for a quick meal that is tasty and at the same time reasonably healthy, inexpensive and quick to prepare? I've probably spent several weeks of my life standing in front of my kitchen cupboard thinking about combinations with what I have. This is probably because as I get hungrier, my cognitive abilities also decrease. I stare from product to product for what feels like minutes, just thinking about how damn hungry I actually am. This is also the point where questions from other people are answered more briefly than usual. The body is sending out clear warning signals that things are no longer good.
A tip or dip like this comes in handy. :)
Smørrebrød is super delicious and super easy to prepare. It is ideal for using vegetables or any bread you have left over and creating a dopamine explosion (at the first bite). Posting a recipe here probably doesn't make sense, as it is as individual as it is simple. Nevertheless, I will list a few ingredients that I used in the smørrebrød pictured: pumpernickel, cream cheese, tomatoes, cucumbers, radishes, leeks, parsley, chia seeds, a thick egg and a few spinach leaves and of course lots of chipeño, the chili chipolte sauce that gives all dishes the finishing touch.
By the way, I made sure that there were as many colors as possible, because as we all know, food is what you eat with your eyes. (You probably didn't know that yet :) )
However, the important thing about the smørrebrød is that you use enough chipeño!! Actually, you can leave out everything else, just bread and chipeño. ;) This is a quick way to prevent the mood swings caused by hunger.
So if someone gives you only brief answers before lunch, give the person Chipeño.
